What is the Nielson Peel?
Our signature Nielson Peel is a 3 in 1 treatment that features ProFractional,
BBL and Erbium lasers working together to correct sun damage, age spots, wrinkles,
large pores, uneven skin texture, and acne scarring.
What are ProFractional, BBL, Erbium Lasers?
ProFractional
uses a laser micro-beam that treats pinpoint areas of your skin. The
laser energy creates thousands of microscopic channels in the skin,
which are surrounded by areas of healthy, untreated skin. The zones
of untreated skin invigorate the body’s natural healing process,
and stimulates collagen production.
Profile BBL broadband light technology utilizes the power of pulsed
light for photo rejuvenation therapy. The light energy delivered by
the BBL gently heats up top skin layers and stimulates skin cells to
generate new collagen. Our Erbium micro-laser peel precisely ablates
the outer layers of the skin to correct scarring, keratoses and even
pigment problems.

What’s
unique about a Nielson Peel?
Most aesthetic laser treatments use only
one technique to create smoother, younger-looking skin. The Nielson
Peel utilizes varied laser approaches during your visit to ensure
you get optimal results.
How many treatments do I need?
For optimal results, we recommend
three Nielson Peels, over a six-month period. However, treatments can be customized
for your specific needs and problem areas.

Will
it be uncomfortable?
Sensitivity varies from patient to patient.
However, topical anesthesia is used and other measures taken before,
during, and after a procedure to ensure the discomfort is minimal.
What kind of recovery can I expect?
Following the procedure,
you will experience redness, blood spots, some stinging, and itchiness.
Healing typically takes 3-4 days.
What special care will I need?
After your procedure, your skin
will be more sensitive, especially to the sun and UV light. We have sunscreens
and other products that will help you care for your skin and maintain vibrant
results.
